Fun and Sports Day

Keighley Lions Club was so happy to invite some amazing guests to the Fun and Sports Day for people with disabilities in Doncaster.

Residents from Springfield Mills, a part of the Affinity Trust, took part in a series of events from football to 'Splat the Rat'. The Annual event is run by District 105N Lions which encompasses over 80 separate Clubs (including Keighley) and covers Yorkshire, the North East and Scotland.

Not only did our honoured guests have a great time, they won three trophies as well! It was a brilliant day and we are looking forward to next year already.

Going forward, the Lions are next seeking to support the Rotary Club with their Accessibility Games which are due to be held at Woodhouse Grove School, Apperley Bridge on the 27th October 2024.
